He was originally a juvenile of Sierra Leone who loved music and dance.
Because of war, his family was destroyed and he had to roam about. Later
he was forcibly recruited into the army and became a cold-blooded child
soldier. They even competed for the winner that killed the captives the
fastest. And “We should gaze at their faces when they leave the world.
To celebrate the results, we took drugs and saw war films.” It’s really a
shudder. As compared with the former boy who loved music, dance
and recitation of poems, he was then a totally different person. However
he was quite lucky among all the child soldiers. After being educated, he
was taken in by his uncle’s kind family first and then was looked after by a
mom the novelist. The other child soldiers were far less lucky as he was.
The armed organizations not only take these children for the tools of war
but also make them act as messengers, spies and porters.
