You could go farther and add some details about yourself,depending on who you are introducing yourself to.If you are at work,for instance,you might want to tell your job title or who your boss is.If you are in college,you might tell your major.If the person you are introducing yourself to already knows someone that you know,you could say "I'm a friend of __________" or "You know my brother ________."
For a longer example,I'll pretend that I am introducing myself to you:
[Hi.I'm Suzanne,one of the Wikianswers supervisors.I work mainly on the Books and Literature section.I teach college classes sometimes,but mainly work as a writer and editor.]
So,in that example I chose things that might be interesting to someone looking at a Books and Literature question.For this topic I wouldn't mention other things like how many brothers and sisters I have,or studying psychology or education...or what church I belong to.Those might be things I would use to introduce myself to other people if those topics were related to the situation.

I very like lavender, the intoxicating fragrance make a person relaxed and happy
