逗号后面and并列的句子动词为什么用ing?（thinking）这样一来后边句子里的动词是什么?

and用来连接并列成分,所以逗号后面and部分的动词还是spend.
spend money/time on sth.
spend money/time (in) doing sth.
thinking 对应的是dreaming。。。这里并列的。他们花了一半的时间来梦想变得富有，在剩余的时间来想当他们一旦变富有时，该找些什么乐子。
spend time doing sth and doing sth.
the rest of their time和half their time是并类成分做spend的宾语。其结构为：spend a and b in doing sth.dreaming 和thinking为并列的做in的宾语。
