HaiBao is the mascot of 2010 Shanghai Expo.The image of Haibao unveiled at 8pm 18 Dec. 2007 under limelight.His lovely and fresh appearance was designed around the principle of 人 (rén) meaning ‘people' with his vibrant blue colour symbolising life and vigour.His smile stands for chinese active , optimistic and healthy spiritual outlook. He holds his head high with hands gesture , expressing compromise and enthusiasm. His jolly thumbs-up hand gesture is a welcome to visitors.
