An American based company wants to build a paper factory in our city.But there are opposite opinions towards the issue.
Those who are for the plan say it can create a lot of jobs for local people. What's more, it can bring in new machines and techology so that it can promote local economic development.
On the other hand, those who are against it say that the noise will pollute people's life. What's worse, it will release a large amount of toxic gases which are harmful to people's health. Moreover, the factory will discharge waste water which will pollute the river.
Now people have got to a common view. We should implement the scientific development, economic development but we should not forget to protect the environment while building a harmonious society. The factory shall ensure the use of environmentally friendly facilities.
